FCC REGISTRATION AND INFORMATION
FCC Requirements—Part 68
This equipment complies with Part 68 of the FCC rules. On the baseline underside
is a label that contains, among other information, the FCC registration number and
ringer equivalence number (REN) for this equipment. If requested, this information
must be provided to the telephone company. The telephone company may make
changes in its facilities, equipment, operation or procedures that could affect the
operation of the equipment. If this happens, the telephone company should pro-
vide you advance notice in order for you to make the necessary modifications
to maintain uninterrupted services.
If you experience problems with your headset, please refer to the warranty section
for information on warranty and repair service. If the problem is causing harm to
the telephone network, the telephone company may request that you remove the
equipment until the problem is resolved. In extreme cases, the telephone company
may be forced to disconnect your service before notifying you of the problem.
Quick Start Operation
The T50 System is a complete headset telephone that
can be connected to any standard residential modular
telephone wall jack.

Plug one end of the telephone cord (supplied) into your
telephone wall jack. Plug the other end of the cord into the ‘Line’
jack on the top of the T50 telephone.

The ‘EXT.’ jack can be used with a standard telephone or
modem.

The ‘RINGER’ tone can be switched from high to low.

The receive signal can be switched from ‘TONE’ to ‘PULSE’.

Insert the headset plug into the jack on the side of the T50
telephone.
Important:
After installing your T50 telephone, it is necessary to wait
for10 seconds prior to use.

To put on the headset, slip the loop over the top of the ear then
slide the ear lobe through the bottom of the loop thereby
securing the headset.

Gently push the headset receiver toward your ear for effective
listening. Adjust the microphone boom by rotating it so that it is
pointing toward the corner of your mouth.
5 To make or receive a call
Activate the T50 Base by pushing the ‘Talk’ button (

).
The ‘In-Use’ light will go on (

).
If you are making a call you will hear a dial tone. Use the
keypad (

) to enter the number you would like to call.
If you are receiving a call you will be able to talk to your caller.
Use the 'Volume' control (

) to adjust the sound level.
Push the 'Talk Button' again to hang up and discontinue the call.
6 Other Features
6.1
‘Hold’ Button - Places the call on hold until the button is pressed again.
6.2
‘Flash’ Button - Used to create a flash when using call waiting, or
when used with a PBX system.
6.3
‘Redial’ Button - Redials the last number dialed on the keypad.
6.4
Belt Clip - used to clip onto a belt or pocket.

Important:
Après avoir installé l’appareil téléphonique T50, il est

Pour installer le casque, faire glisser la boucle par-dessus l’oreille
puis glisser le lobe de l’oreille à travers la base de la boucle afin
de maintenir le casque en place.

Pousser délicatement l’écouteur du casque vers l’oreille pour
obtenir une bonne écoute. Régler la perche du microphone en la
tournant jusqu’à ce que le microphone pointe vers le coin de la
bouche.
5 Pour placer ou recevoir un appel
Activer le téléphone T50 en poussant le bouton « Talk »
(communication) (

). Le voyant « In-Use » (en service) doit
s’allumer (

).
Lorsqu’on place un appel, on entend une tonalité. Composer le
numéro à l’aide du clavier (

).
Lorsqu’on reçoit un appel, on peut parler à son interlocuteur.
Utiliser la commande « Volume » (

) pour régler le niveau du son.
Pousser à nouveau le bouton « Talk » (Communication) pour
raccrocher et terminer l’appel.
6 Autres Fonctionnalités
6.1
Bouton « Hold » (Mise en attente) - Place l’appel en attente jusqu’à
ce qu’on appuie de nouveau sur le bouton.
6.2
Bouton « Flash » - Utilisé pour passer d’un appel à l’autre en cas
d’appels simultanés et d’utilisation de la fonction de mise en
attente ou d’un système de standard privé (PBX).
6.3
Bouton « Redial » (rappel du dernier numéro appelé) - Ce bouton
rappelle le dernier numéro composé sur le clavier.
6.4
Clip de ceinture – Utilisé pour accrocher le téléphone à une
ceinture ou une poche.
