Select this button to take both images at the same time.
The button allows you to select the type of photo you wish to take. You can
toggle between two photo options:
1. Select this option if you wish to include the patient’s ears in the photo:
The image is taken using a combined method of laser and optical scans.
2. Select this option if you do not wish to include the patient’s ears in the
photo:
The image is taken with a laser scan. We recommend that you use this
option if you need to take very sharp photos.
8.8 Adjusting volume position
The volume positions are preset at the factory for a standard patient. As all
patients and their anatomical structures are different, however, you must
check that the preset position covers the area of interest for this patient. If
this is not the case, adjust the volume position according to the patient’s
anatomy. The positioning lights and the illustrations on the touch screen help
you to do this.
