1. Introduction
Thanks for choosing PLANET’s Z-Wave™ home automation device. PLANET HZS Series is a
Z-Wave™ enabled device that adopts the two-way RF mesh network technology and thus,
it is fully compatible with any Z-Wave™ enabled network and its security framework. Every
mains powered Z-Wave™ enabled device acts as a signal repeater and multiple devices
result in more possible transmission routes which help eliminate “RF dead spots”.
PLANET HZS Series include:
The
HZS-100
monitors movement and sends Z-Wave™ signal when movement is detected
inside the building. With temperature sensor built inside, it will send the signal out when
temperature changes.
The
HZS-200
is designed to sense smoke that comes into the detector chamber. When the
detector detects a certain density of smoke, the smoke detector will sound.
The
HZS-300
sends Z-Wave™ signal when a door or window is opened and closed, or
humidity, temperature and luminosity change.
The
HZS-531A-US/HZS-532E-DE
will send On/Off signal to the appliance that is attached
to this module by receiving Z-Wave™ signal from controller or manual switch.
When these devices are secure and included into the Z-Wave™ network, the above
communication will be encrypted.
