7.4 Cleaning of the water inlet valve

The water inlet valve should be cleaned
at least
once every six months.
❖
The water inlet valve has to be cleaned, when it is not or improperly supplied with
water with the tap opened.
1.
Close the water tap.
2.
Disconnect the appliance from the mains (unplug).
3.
Remove the water inlet hose from the
tap
.
4.
Clean the internal filter and reconnect the water inlet hose to the tap.
5.
Remove the water inlet hose from the washing machine.

Remove the filter (

) using a universal pliers; s. fig.
below.

7.
Clean the filter using some water and a toothbrush.
8.
Reinstall the filter properly.
9.
Reconnect the water inlet hose to the appliance again.
10.
Open the tap and make sure that the connections (hose - tap / hose - washing
machine) are properly installed and watertight.
