9. HOW TO FREEZE FOOD / ENERGY SAVING
Storing food
Do not put bottles or cans into the appliance.
Do not freeze defrosted food again.
Place fresh food near the sides of the appliance. Do not place fresh food near
frozen food, if possible.
The maximum freezing capacity of the appliance is 10 kg in 24 hours. Do not
exceed the maximum capacity.
Mark your frozen food with a date.
Freeze your food in colourless, airtight and tasteless materials.
Do not put glassware into the appliance, because it may explode and cause
injury.
Allow ample storage place for your foodstuff. Do not overfill your appliance.
Let warm or hot foodstuff cool down to room temperature before you put it
into your appliance. Otherwise the energy consumption will increase and
encrusted ice will be generated.
If you buy frozen food, the packaging must not be damaged and the product
must be properly stored ( sales chest freezer -18

C or lower ).
Suitable for freezing:
Meat, poultry, fish, vegetables, herbs, fruit, pastries, cooked dishes.
Not suitable for freezing:
Lettuce, reddish, radishes, onions, mayonnaise, sauce hollandaise etc.,
fresh eggs, cream, sour cream.
How to defrost frozen food depends on your kitchen-equipment and the
purpose, you want to use the frozen food for.

Energy saving
Try opening the door as little as possible, especially when the weather is warm
and humid.
If you open the door, close it as fast as possible.
Permanently check , that the appliance is well-ventilated. The appliance has to
