Defrosting
WARNING!
Do not use any steam cleaners to clean or defrost the appliance. The steam can get
into contact with the electrical parts and cause an electrical short.
Risk of electric shock!
1.
Remove the contents from the freezing-compartment and put them into a
cooling box.
2.
Switch off the appliance by turning the thermostat to position 0/AUS/OFF and
disconnect it from the mains.
3.
WARNING
Do not use hairdryers, electrical heaters or other technical
facilities to accelerate the defrost-progress
. Risk of electric shock!
4.
Remove the defrost water (look at
figure 1
).
5.
Wipe and dry the appliance and door seals with dry and soft cloths.
6.
After cleaning leave the door open for some time to ventilate the appliance.
7.
Switch on the appliance and let it operate in the Super-Freeze mode for approx.
3 hours.
1.
Remove the rubber-cover. Store the cover in a safe place. Fix the cover after
defrosting.
2.
Extract the water drain by 20 - 25 mm until you can see the water drain hole.
3.
Turn the water drain until the arrow points downwards.
4.
Insert the water drain after defrosting. The arrow must point upwards.
NOTICE!
Never
use mechanic devices, knives or other sharp-edged items to remove
encrusted ice inside the appliance.
Replacing of the power cord
WARNING!
The power cord must be replaced by a qualified
and authorized professional only.
