2.4 Installation of the hob

AFEIY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE INSTALLATION:
Never seal the hob using a sealant (e.g. silicon). Appliance and worktop
can be damaged when dismounting the appliance.
1.
Insert the hob in the opening and align it correctly. The hob must be in the
installation opening of the worktop properly and firmly. Check the seal for perfect
fit and overall cover.

Fix the hob (

) on the underside of the worktop (

) using the brackets (

) and
screws (

); s. fig. below. Using a standard screwdriver, tighten the brackets evenly
starting at the centre and moving diagonal, until the built-in rim is tight on the
worktop.

The hob must be ventilated properly. The air inlet and outlet must never be
blocked or covered.
