1. The extracted air is conducted by an exhaust hose. You need an exhaust duct or an
exhaust pipe, which conduct the extracted air outside your home.
2. Whenever the hood is run in company with chimney-conducted firing ( e.g. coal
furnace ), ensure there is sufficient air supply to the room where the appliance is
installed.

Regulations concerning the discharge of air have to be fulfilled.
4. If there is not a stationary exhaust pipe or an exhaust duct, you must convert your
appliance to recirculating mode.

1. The extracted air runs through a carbon filter ( also named active carbon filter ) back
into the room. The carbon filter extracts the odours produced by cooking.
2. The fresh air is leaded back by air outlets on the sides or on the back of the
