Changing Belt
The base motor has motorised bristles which is controlled with a belt. These bristle may
become clogged with a built up of hair, carpet pile and dust and my require cleaning and in
some case, the belt may with break or become unaligned.
1. Lay the unit flat and flip to expose
the bottom of the base motor.
2. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove
the 3 screws from the base as indicated
and open the base cover.
3. The brush and belt can be remove.
Clean the bristles of any debris before refitting.
4. To refit, loop the belt around the brush rod
5. Loop the belt on the metal hook in the base then pull to
stretch the belt and insert the brush rod into its housing.
6. Once the brush rod and belt are secured in place,
replace the base cover and refit the 3 screws tightly.
