OPERATION
ATTENTION:
Special care is required when vacuuming certain types of carpet or floor covering.
Always check the carpet or floor covering manufacturer’s recommended cleaning instructions before
vacuuming.
1. Ensure the vacuum is switched OFF before selecting a pile height setting.
2. Select a pile height setting by tilting
the cleaner back until front wheels
are lifted slightly off the floor.
3. Turn the adjustment dial to the correct
setting. This will make some jobs
easier for carpeted surfaces.
A – Long Pile: shag carpet, long pile
plush and scatter rugs
B – Long to Medium pile carpets
C – Medium pile carpets
D – Medium to short pile carpets &
non carpeted floors
E – Short Pile carpets &
non carpeted floors
4. It is recommended that you adjust the
height to “Long Pile’ when using
attachments, so the bristles are not
touching the floor surface.
5. Plug the unit into a power socket.
6. Turn the unit on by depressing the
ON/OFF switch pedal located on the
left side of the motor base.
8. To begin cleaning, the handle needs to be released for easy
manoeuvring. To release the handle press the handle release
pedal.
9. The handle can move tilt to almost 90° to easily clean under
furniture. Press the handle release pedal again to adjust the
handle to its lowest angle.
