7.1.3 DIAGNOSIS OF THE AMPLIFIER SECTION
(3) If reception is unstable
Check if there is a source of interference with signal reception, such as a wireless LAN, Bluetooth device, microwave, or digital
cordless phone, near the tuner. If only a specific channel can be received, or if reception is unstable only on a specific
channel, existence of a source of interference near the tuner is likely.
If it is confirmed that unstable reception is not caused by some source of interference, the Tx or Rx module may be defective.
If so, replace the module.
(ID-related)
The ID number for an individual product is stored in the EEPROMs (IC7 for the TX module, IC11 for the RX module) of each
module (TX module: AXF7010, RX module: AXF7011). It should be noted that wireless communications cannot be performed
unless these ID numbers are identical.
1. Replacement of the TX or RX module
Upon replacement of the TX (AXF7010) or RX (AXF7011) module, remove the EEPROM from the original module and mount
it on the new one.
2. Replacement of the EEPROMs (IC7 and IC11)
Using service part AXX7198 (a kit containing two EEPROMs with identical ID numbers stored in them,) replace both
EEPROMs when either needs to be replaced.
Note : The AXX7198 is a service part containing two EEPROMs, both of which must be replaced when either needs to be
replaced.
