7.1.2 TROUBLESHOOTING
(1) In a case where the power is not turned on (the POWER LED does not light)
TX side
TX side
No power
(The POWER LED does not light.)
Narrow down the point in failure.
The protection circuit may have
been activated. Use the
adaptor dedicated to the
XW-HT1.
Check the communication between
IC1301 and IC1303 and that
between IC1301 and IC1401.
Is the
AC adaptor for the
XW-HT1 being
used?
Is the
FFC correctly
inserted?
Are electric
potentials at each
measuring point
normal?
No
Insert the FFC
correctly.
No
No
Yes

Yes
(2) In a case where no sound is output
No sound
Check the communication lines for
the clock (such as, IC1202, IC1203,
and resistors).
Check the audio lines to narrow
down the point in failure.
Is the
voltage at each
IC correct?
Is MCK
(18.432 MHz) correctly
output from Pin 30
of IC1301?
No
The DSP may not be operating
properly. Check the communication
between IC1301 and IC1303 and
that between IC1301 and IC1401.
No
Check the power and input/output
voltages at IC1501, IC1502, and
IC1503.
No
Yes
Yes
Yes
• Communication between IC1301 and IC1303 is
initiated only immediately after the power is
turned on.
• Communication between IC1301 and IC1401 is
initiated immediately after the power is turned on
and when modes are changed.
Are MCK,
BCKO, and LRO that are
output from the DSP properly
input to IC1201, IC1601,
IC1631, and IC1661?
