Before operating the receiver, be sure to press the main power
button on the front panel to turn the power ON (

).
First turn the receiver off (Standby mode), then press the
STANDBY/ON button while holding down the
SPEAKERS button.
Choose the impedance setting by pressing the SPEAKERS button again.
You can choose the 8

setting.
To check which impedance the amp is set to, hold down the
SPEAKERS button for 2-3 seconds. You will get a display like
the one shown below telling you the speaker impedance
setting.
