Remote control
This section ex p lains how to o p e r ate the r emote cont r ol
fo r the r eceive r .
The remote has been conveniently color-coded according
to component control using the following system:
•
White
– Receive r cont r ol, TV cont r ol
•
Blue
– Othe r cont r ols (See p age 41, 42, 45, 46, 50 and
70.)
1  RECEIVER
This switches between standby and on fo r this r eceive r .
2 MULTI OPERATION – Use to p e r fo r m multi
o p e r ations ( p age 68).
R.SETUP – Use to in p ut the pr eset code when making
r emote cont r ol settings and to set the r emote cont r ol
mode ( p age 66).
3 Input function buttons
P r ess to select cont r ol of othe r com p onents ( p age 66).
(The XM button can only be used with the VSX-33.)
Use
INPUT SELECT
to select the in p ut function ( p age 41).
4 TV CTRL
Set the pr eset code of you r TV’s manufactu r e r when
cont r olling the TV ( p age 66).
5 TV CONTROL buttons
These buttons a r e dedicated to cont r ol the TV assigned to
the
TV CTRL
button.
6 Receiver setting buttons
P r ess fi r st to access:
AUDIO PARAMETER – Use to access the Audio
o p tions ( p age 59).
VIDEO PARAMETER
– Use to access the Video
o p tions ( p age 61).
HOME MENU – Use to access the Home Menu
( p ages 37, 39, 56, 73, 82 and 85).
RETURN – P r ess to confi r m and exit the cu rr ent
menu sc r een.
