Caution :
1
Video is not output when removed two flexible cables of the
VOUT Assy. In addition, please install two flexible cables
surely before diagnosing the remote control unit because it
does not work.
There is not affect in a diagnosis even if removes the DOUT
Assy.
About the operating of DVDM Assy when the
DSPB Assy was removed
A microcomputer (IC601 : SH1) on the DVDM Assy works with
20 MHz clock supplied from the DSPB Assy. So the
microcomputer does not work when removes the DSPB Assy.
Diagnosis of the DVDM Assy becomes possible even if there is
not DSPB Assy because operates a crystal oscillator (X601) on
the DVDM Assy and works the microcomputer.
Perform the following operations to oprate X601.

DVDM Assy
Remove R612.
On the DVDM Assy
Caution :
After the diagnosis was completed, return the resistors
mentioned above to the original state surely.

Short-circuit R657 and R658.
