8.2 MODEL SETTING
Destination Setting Screen
• The screen for setting the destination region will be analogous to the screen shown in Fig. 1.
• A proportional font will be used.
• Entering a 4-digit number is possible with the remote control unit for service (Fig. 2).
• To shift to the next page, the SIDE-B key is used. When this key is pressed while the last page is displayed,
Page 1 will be displayed.
• To shift to the previous page, the SIDE-A key is used. When this key is pressed while Page 1 is being displayed,
the last page will be displayed.
The input numbers and model names will be changed when pages are changed (Fig. 3).
Other indications and operations are common to all pages.
• If there are several pages, any destination number will be accepted regardless of the currently displayed page.
• To exit the Destination Setting screen, press the ESC key.
• Once all 4 digits are input, that number is set.
-> If a number corresponding to the input number does not exist, the error message will be displayed. (Fig. 4)
-> After the error message is displayed, no key input will be accepted. (Unplug the power cord.)
• The first input numeric is displayed at the rightmost position then will be shifted to the left with subsequent key inputs,
as shown below:
• To correct the input data, press the CLEAR key on the remote control unit for service.
All the input numerics will be cleared.

No input
A "1" is input. (Even if a nonvalid numeric is input, the error message will not be displayed at this stage.)
Keys other than those mentioned above will not be accepted.
A "2" is input. (Even if a nonvalid numeric is input, the error message will not be displayed at this stage.)
When the CLEAR key is pressed, the screen will return to the initial display.
A "3" is input. (Even if a nonvalid numeric is input, the error message will not be displayed at this stage.)
When the CLEAR key is pressed, the screen will return to the initial display.
A "4" is input. (If the input 4-digit number is not a valid number, "> 1234" is instantly [0.2 sec] displayed.
Then an error message will be displayed.)
When the CLEAR key is pressed, the screen will return to the initial display.
The above "> 1234" is instantly (0.2 sec) displayed
then the Model Setting screen will be cleared.
For canceling input numerics and returning to the initial display.
