, no sound will be output if

(the
warning message shown below is displayed). When listening to
the audio by the HDMI-compatible device, connect to the TV
with the HDMI cable to watch the video (pages 14 and 17).
• Linear PCM (2-channel) audio signals are output from the audio
terminals other than the one set at

, regardless of the
audio format and the player’s settings.
Restoring all the settings to the
factory default settings

Check that the player’s power is turned on.

When a disc is playing, press
to stop playback.
Eject the disc from the player.
