Initial Settings
Switching the auxiliary setting
It is possible to use auxiliary equipment with
this product.
Turn the auxiliary setting on when using exter-
nal equipment connected to this product.
1 With the source turned off, press and hold
1.
2 Press
AUX
to select the AUX mode.
3 Press
AUX
to turn AUX on.
ON
appears in the display.
• Press
AUX
again to turn AUX off.
Switching the guide animation
setting
Navigation guide animation can be switched on
and off.
1 With the source turned off, press and hold
1.
2 Press
G.ANI
to turn the guide animation on.
ON
appears in the display.
• Press
G.ANI
again to turn the guide animation
off.
Switching the muting/attenua-
tion setting
• This setting controls whether the volume of
the Head Unit is automatically muted during
voice guidance.
• Either muting or attenuation is selectable for
the guide voice of the head unit when a mute
signal has been received from a cell phone
connected to the head unit.
1 With the source turned off, press and hold

MUTE.S
to select the muting/attenu-
ation mode.
3 Press
MUTE.S
to select the desired setting.
Press
MUTE.S
repeatedly to switch between the
following settings:
MUTE
(muting)—
ATT
(attenuation)—
NORMAL
(no
attenuation)
Setting the Guide Select
Car navigation audio (guidance) can be output
from the front speakers.
1 With the source turned OFF, press and
hold 1.

G.MIX
to select the Guide Select
mode.
3 Push the rotary stick

multi-function button to select the desired
output setting.

Setting the FM tuning step
Normally, the FM tuning step is set at 50 kHz
during seek tuning, however, it changes to 100
kHz when the AF or TA function is on.
You can set the FM tuning step to 50 kHz even
when the AF or TA function is on.
1 With the source turned off, press and hold
1.
2 Press
NEXT
and then press FMstep to
select the FM tuning step mode.
3 Press the corresponding button to select
the desired tuning step.
