Removing / Attaching Squeegee Blades
Front Squeegee Blade:
1. With the vacuum motor off, remove the front blade by loosening the front seven wing nuts and removing
the front squeegee retainer strap.
2. As the squeegee wears, it may be flipped 180° to have a new wear edge come in contact with the floor.
NOTE: The ribs on the front squeegee must be facing forward.
3. To reattach, place the front blade on the squeegee, followed by the front squeegee retainer strap, and the
front seven wing nuts.
Rear Squeegee and Backer Blades:
1. With the vacuum motor off, remove the rear squeegee and backer blades by loosening the rear seven
wing nuts and removing the rear squeegee retainer strap.
NOTE: The rear squeegee and backer blades are identical. The rear blade is to be positioned so that
the squeegee blade attachment set screws are at the top of the slot in the blade. The backer
blade is to be positioned so that the screws are at the bottom of the slot in the blade. This
enables the rear blade to come in contact with the floor and backer blade to provide support.
2. As the rear squeegee blade wears, it may be reoriented so that all four edges of the blade come in
contact with the floor. After all four edges are worn out, switch the rear squeegee blade with the
backer blade and repeat the process. This enables a total of eight working edges to be used before
replacing blades.
3. To reattach, place the rear squeegee and backer blades on the squeegee. Then secure the rear
squeegee retainer strap with the rear seven wing nuts.
Removing / Attaching Squeegee
1. With the vacuum motor off, disconnect the suction hose from the squeegee.
2. Firmly pull the squeegee from the bracket. If needed, slightly loosen the retaining knobs until the
squeegee is released.
