Troubleshooting
If you think something is wrong with the unit, check the information below and refer to the

] for the DDJ-REV7 at the URL below.
•
Inspect devices connected with the unit.
•
The unit may restore proper operation after you turn it off and on.
If the problems continue, read the “Precautions for Use” and consult an authorized service
company or your dealer.
Power
The unit doesn’t turn on.
•
See Connections (basic styles) (page 31).
•
Press the
button on the rear of the unit to turn it on.
Connection
The unit isn’t recognized.
•
Connect the supplied USB cable properly (page 13).
•
You can’t use a USB hub. Connect the USB device directly to the unit.
•
If a USB device other than this unit is connected to your PC/Mac, disconnect it.
•
If you use a PC (Windows), install the dedicated audio driver software properly (page 21).
•
Close all applications (including any screen saver and resident software) running on your
PC/Mac before using the unit. When you close anti-virus software, etc., disconnect from
the internet to ensure the safety of your PC/Mac.
•
If you use a PC (Windows), uninstall unnecessary ASIO drivers other than the one for this
unit.
•
Check if the unit is recognized by your PC/Mac, and the firmware version of the unit is
displayed in Setting Utility (page 29).
