Winding the watch
This watch has a hand-wound mechanical movement that requires you to wind it on a
regular basis. To wind the watch, ensure the crown is fully pushed in and turn the crown
clockwise until it stops. It is normal behaviour for the crown to turn slightly in reverse
due to the tightening of the mainspring when the watch is nearly fully wound.
When fully wound, the watch will provide power for approx. 45 hours.
Setting the time and date
Time:
Pull the crown out to position (2) and turn it clockwise until you have the
desired time set. When finished, push the crown back to the original position at (1).
Date:
Because of the vintage nature of the movement, there is no quick-date setting
on this watch. To set the date you need to pull the crown out to position (2) and turn
the hands clockwise until the hour hand passes 12 (midday) and 12 (midnight) and the
date will advance. Repeat this motion until the required date is achieved.

Follow the instructions below to operate your Pinion R-1969 watch. Please ensure you
do not try to set the time in wet or humid conditions and you push the crown back
into correct position once you have completed your adjustments.
Using the chronograph function
The R-1969 comes with a chronograph function, that is operated by pushers (3) and (4).
This provides (A) 60-second counter and (B) 60-minute counter.
To operate the chronograph, follow the instructions below:
1. Press pusher (3) to start the chronograph.
2. Press pusher (3) again to stop the chronograph.
3. Press pusher (4) to reset the chronograph to zero.
Please note:
We recommended you don’t use the chronograph set to run constantly all
the time. Doing so will reduce the power reserve on the watch.
