Battery charge
The life of the battery depends on the way it is used and maintained. Ensure that the terminals are clean and lubricated to
avoid sulphation. Also ensure that the terminals are tightened.
When to recharge?
Charge the battery when the voltage reaches 12.2 V. If the vehicle remains stationary for a long period, regularly check the
battery charge and recharge if necessary. A battery recharge is necessary at least every six months.
Failure to respect this recommendation invalidates warranty claims.
How to recharge?
To recharge the battery, connect the vehicle to the 230 V mains supply for 24 hours, having previously checked that
the leisure battery protection fuse F1 is installed.
Storage
• Turn off the main 12 V switch on the control panel.
• Remove the 50 A (F2) fuse from the electrical unit to disconnect the engine battery.
• Switch off all appliances and lights
• Remove the 50 A (F1) fuse from the electrical unit to disconnect the leisure battery after ensuring that it is properly charged
(a discharged battery is sensitive to freezing).
• Disconnect the battery terminals
Follow the user manual instructions for the electrical unit corresponding to other measures relating to immobilisation.
Switch off the 12 V supply as soon as the vehicle is unoccupied.
The leisure battery is equipped with a de-gassing tube which must not be obstructed
and must remain open to the exterior.
