7. CARPET GLIDER (J)

The Carpet Glider is only required when cleaning 

and sanitizing your carpets or rough surfaces. 

Place the Carpet Glider on the floor and place 

the steam mop with the cleaning pad attached 

into it. Note: Carpet Glider(J) does not clip onto 

the steam mop. 

The mop simply sits in the Carpet Glider.

CAUTION:

 The steam mop must be switched off before placing into the Carpet Glider. 

It is recommended to test a small area of carpet in an unseen area for compatibility 

with a steam process, do not allow the steam mop to stand stationary on one spot, the 

heat may damage fibres or polished surfaces.

8. USING THE STEAM MOP

Once the Steam Mop is generating steam, operate it by passing it slowly over 

the surface to be cleaned. This is the ideal method to thoroughly clean your floor. 

On some rough surfaces it may only be possible to pull the appliance backwards.

10. STORAGE

• Turn off all the controls and unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet.

• Wind the power cord around cord holder.

• Store the Steam Mop indoors in a cool, dry area.

CAUTION:

 Always empty water from the tank before storage.

   be taken to arrange the cord so that it can not be pulled or tripped over.

• The appliance must not be immersed for cleaning.

• Do not immerse the cord, plug or main unit into water or other liquids.

• Do not handle the plug or steam cleaner with wet hands or operate it without suitable   

   footwear.

• Use only as described in this manual. Use only the manufacturer’s recommended 

   accessories.

• Do not treat it as a toy. 

• Close attention is necessary when used near children, pets or     plants.

• Close supervision is recommended as children should not play with the appliance.

• This appliance is not intended for use by children or the infirm unless they have 

   been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by the person   

   responsible for their safety.

• Fill the tank with distilled water or water that has been softened with an appropriate  

   water softener to prevent lime scale build-up which will prolong the life 

   of the appliance. Do not use ordinary tap water in this appliance even in a soft water       

   area.

• Never put products containing perfumes, alcohol or detergent into the

   appliance, this will cause damage, make it unsafe and invalidate your warranty.

• Never turn the appliance over on its side when using steam. Never

   direct steam towards people, animals or plants.

• Do not use the appliance in an enclosed space filled with vapours given off by oil           

   based paint, paint thinner, some moth proofing substances, flammable dust, or other    

   explosive and toxic vapours.

• Do not touch the hot surface or steam. There is a danger of scalding.

• Do not block the appliance’s openings.

• Steam must not be directed towards equipment containing electrical components.
