CONVERSION PRIOR TO DEMODULATOR OR
CHANNEL PROCESSOR
1.
Mount unit securely by attaching screws or bolts through mounting
tab of unit and into an equipment rack or other solid structure.
2.
Supply power to the XSV using the supplied power adapter.
3.
Connect the source cable (The one containing the sub band channel)
to the RF input connector of the XSV.
4.
Connect a cable between the RF output of the XSV and the RF
input of the demodulator or channel processor.
5.
Select the desired input channel on the demodulator or processor
(Refer to products operation manual).*
6.
If connecting to a demodulator, connect cables between the video
and audio output of the demodulator and the video and audio inputs
of the modulator.
7.
If connecting to a channel processor, connect the output of the
channel processor to the CATV combining system.
* Set the modulator or processor to channel 7 to receive T-7, 8 to
receive T-8, etc.

ON CHANNEL CONVERSION
1.
Mount unit securely by attaching screws or bolts through mounting
tab of unit and into an equipment rack or other solid structure.
2.
Supply power to the XSV using the supplied power adapter.
3.
Connect the source cable (The one containing the sub band channel)
to the RF input connector of the XSV.
4.
Connect a cable between the RF output of the XSV and the RF
input of a band pass filter.
5.
Connect a cable between the RF output of the band pass filter and
the RF input of the HBS single channel strip amplifier.
6.
Connect a cable between the RF output of the strip amplifier and
the CATV combining system.
* The strip amp must be tuned to channel 7 to receive channel T-7,
channel 8 to receive channel T-8, etc.
