M360 Firebox Installation Instructions
February 2015
Connect the 220V [O] power cable and power the control unit [P]. Enter the
maintenance mode (see
"USE"
and
"MAINTENANCE").
(Fig. 41)
Raise one of the two glass panels [Q] slowly until it is near the hood. Stop
before it reaches the plate [R] by releasing the button.
There are mechanical parts in movement during this procedure: use the product
with care.
If the appliance has been installed correctly the rim of the glass [Q] should
remain about 7 mm from the plate [R]. Check that the same distance has been
maintained for both glass panels. (Fig. 42) If there is any difference, check
that the hood and the base [A] are level and adjust the position of the product
to centre it, distributing the margin between glass and plate so that the
distances are equal.
If the base is centred in relation to the hood, product operation and
performance is at its best and the glass becomes less dirty.
Having checked that the base is centred in relation to the hood, anchor the
base to the floor using the brackets [S] and masonry plugs [T], if possible, or
spread some silicone under the brackets. (Fig. 43) T
he brackets must adhere to the floor, with the appliance firmly screwed onto
the brackets.
Carefully refit the Aluker elements [1] into the base, leaving even gaps
between them. Where necessary, shim with tape. (Fig. 44)
Take care not to break or chip the grate elements.
Refit the ash box [2] and the grid [3].
Fit the smoke damper handle [U] into place on the hood.
It is recommended that the handle be left inserted in the hood only for a short
time so that it does not overheat; having adjusted the smoke damper, remove
the handle and put it in a safe place.
Complete the product by cladding it (see CLADDING INSTRUCTIONS
BOOKLET).
