Fuses (03_13)
The electrical system is protected by a plug fuse «
B
» located to the left of the battery
compartment. The ignition system, headlight and the rear light are not fuse-protected.
Before replacing a blown fuse, find and solve the problem that caused it to blow. Do
not substitute the fuse with any alternative form of conductor
CAUTION
IN ORDER TO AVOID DAMAGING THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, NEVER DISCON-
NECT THE WIRING WHILE THE ENGINE IS RUNNING. DO NOT TIP THE VEHICLE
TOO MUCH IN ORDER TO AVOID DANGEROUS LEAKAGE OF THE BATTERY
ELECTROLYTE.

Frontlightgroup (03_14, 03_15)
In order to reach the headlight bulbs (1 twin-filament high-/low-beam bulb and 1 town
light bulb), remove the front section of the handlebar cover, as follows:
1)
Remove the rear-view mirrors; for this operation follow the instructions described
and illustrated in the «Rear-view mirror adjustment» section.
2)
Unscrew the 3 screws holding the handlebar cover. The front central one «
C
» and
the rear ones «
B
».
3)
Remove the handlebar cover to access the headlight and the bulbs.
