MAINTENANCE
Regular cleaning eliminates the accumulation of dirt and grime and helps
extend the life of your lower limb support. It is recommended to visually
inspect all the components of the lower limb support during the cleaning
process.
A weekly cleaning is recommended.
Cleaning the foot box
1.
Remove the padding from the rigid structure.
2.
With a dry cloth, dust off the rigid structure surface before cleaning.
3.
Gently wipe the structure with a cloth dampened with a mild soap or neutral
detergent and dry-off with a clean cloth.
4.
Remove all debris on the padding surface and between seams and folds.
5.
With a mix of water and a soft soap or neutral detergent, gently wipe clean
the padding.
6.
Remove excess moisture by lightly wiping the surface with a clean cloth and
then let air dry completely.
7.
Fasten the padding to the rigid structure with the Velcro fasteners.

Lower limb supports must be stored in a dry and secure area.

source or in a high-humidity environment.

The estimated life span of your lower limb support is two (2)
years.
Disposal of Medical Devices
Do not burn or throw away medical devices outside of designated areas.
