6. Maintenance and care
Cleaning instructions
The aluminum plate can be cleaned with soap and warm water. No other
maintenance is required.
The postural components can be cleaned with soapy water. Do not
submerge postural components in water.
Note
- Do not store backrest in extreme heat and avoid direct sunlight for long
periods of time.
Note
- Do not place heavy or sharp objects on backrest cushion.
7. WARRANTY
The Conventional Modular Backrest is warranted to be free of defects in material
and workmanship for a period of 24 months, on all optional components and
replacement parts provided by the supplier or other authorized dealer or
establishment, upon the date of delivery or replacement. Physipro inc. agrees
to repair or replace defective parts during the warranty period. In order to make
a warranty claim, contact Physipro inc. or an authorized dealer. Do not return
product without prior consent. In case of dissatisfaction with our customer
service, you can send your comments to the address written at the end of this
manual, please include the name and address of the supplier, the date of delivery
and the products serial number.
Exclusions and limitations
This warranty does not apply to products that have been altered, accidentally
or intentionally, that have sustained damage due to an improper use, neglect,
lack of maintenance or inappropriate storage conditions. This warranty does not
cover damages caused by modifications or repairs that have been made without
written consent by Physipro inc. or an authorized dealer. The same restrictions
apply for damages from other circumstances beyond the control of Physipro inc.
This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear of product or any non-
compliance of the recommendations provided in this booklet.
Physipro inc. will not be held liable for damage sustained during transportation.
Our backrest and seat are made to be used exclusively with mobility devices
(manual or electric wheelchairs). Physipro inc. will not be held responsible for an
inadequate use of its products.
Crash test have not been made for this product, be aware that if product is
used with a certified ISO-717619 mobility device, ISO certification will not be
withstanding. The implementation of the recommendations and guidelines of
this manual are essential to reduce the risk of injury. An inadequate assembly and/
or inaccurate adjustments increase the probability of injury. Prior to assembly, it
is important to thoroughly read the instructions and recommendations provided
in the User Manual. Physipro inc. will not be held responsible for the misuse of
its products or adjustments made by an unqualified professional. The product
depicted in this manual may not be an exact representation of the product in-
hand. The information provide in this document are still valid for your product.
