MAINTENANCE
Cleaning, deodorization and disinfection are three separate processes. Cleaning
should always precede deodorisation and disinfection.
Cleaning the ImmAirsion
TM
insert:
Regular cleaning eliminates the accumulation of dirt and grime and may
help extend the life of your insert. We recommend that you inspect your
ImmAirsion
TM
insert during the cleaning process.
1. Remove the air cells insert from the foam base by carefully extracting the
inflation tube(s) and valve(s).
2. Tightly close the inflation valve(s).
3. Wash by hand in warm water with a mild liquid soap or detergent. Use a
sponge or a soft brush to thoroughly clean between each air cell.
4. Rinse with clean water and let air dry for 15 minutes. To accelerate the drying
process, use a clean dry cloth to gently wipe off excess moisture.
5. Reinstall insert in the recess of the foam base and the cover(s).
Never place insert in a washer or dryer.
Deodorizing the ImmAirsion
TM
insert:
1. Remove the air cells insert from the foam base by carefully extracting the
inflation tube(s) and valve(s).
2. Tightly close the inflation valve(s).
3. To eliminate odor, prepare a solution of one (1) tablespoon of baking soda
for one (1) liter of water.
4. Soak the air cell insert in solution for several hours or overnight.
5. Rinse with clean water and let air dry for 15 minutes. To accelerate the drying
process, use a clean dry cloth to gently wipe off excess moisture.
6. Repeat procedure if necessary.
7. Place insert in the recess of the foam base and reinstall cover(s).
Regular cleaning and the use of a waterproof cover can prevent odor formation
and reduce the appearance of stains.
