WARNING:
The Apple device must be renamed. Enter your smartphone settings then select “General” and then
“Info”. Press “name” and change the name to: Rear Wifi Camera. In the settings select PERSONAL HOTSPOT,
activate it and enter the wi-fi password: 12345678. Then, you can customize USER and PASSWORD, through
the HOTSPOT SETTING.
Note: Remember to save your SSID and PASSWORD settings because you cannot reset the system (RESET)
or change the settings without re-entering the previously stored SSID and PASSWORD.

The smartphone connects to the camera.
The WI-FI function is deactivated (if it was active).
Ignition-key activation
If the connection is not yet active, the device
continues the research. If, instead, it is already connected it waits for
the engagement of the reverse gear (the APP must ALWAYS remain
open to receive images. )
Reverse gear Engagement
The camera sends the image to smartphone.
At the same time static guidelines will be displayed.
PHONOCAR APP in background
The smartphone keeps HOTSPOT active but to receive the rear image,
it is necessary to reopen the APP, when the reverse gear is re-activated.

By completely closing the APP on your smartphone, it
continues to remain connected via HOTSPOT, and when the APP
reopens the smartphone will be ready to receive the images.

The smartphone remains in “ready to reverse gear”.
The WI-FI function is deactivated (if activated).
OUT FROM THE VEHICL
E The system remains on for 60 minutes after having closed the
ignition-key , so as to maintain the possibility to connect your
smartphone if it is within range of the camera (approx. 10 meters).
In this way, activation times of the system are reduced.
After 60 minutes, the system switches off.
WI-FI AND HOTSPOT CONNECTIONS
The HOTSPOT function cannot be used at the same time as the WI-FI because the smartphone is supposed to
create the connection with the camera. It will therefore not be possible to connect to any Access Point, Router or
other WI-FI device during the use of the rear camera, but 3G for data transmission will remain in operation.
