5.3. Motor Overload Protection
Functions relevant for safety are realized by the hybrid motor starter without any external influences.
Special switching techniques are not required.
The wiring of the load current circuit should be implemented as in the above listed examples. In contrast,
the module current supply, however, can be connected directly to the voltage source without a safety re-
lay PSR. This applies for the control.
5.4. Motor with brake
If a motor with brake (connection in the motor terminal board) is connected, the 400 V AC brake must be
connected to the 2/T1 and 6/T3 connections. A 230 V AC brake must be connected to the 4/T2 connection
and the star point of the motor.
Please note the following:
The motor current monitoring must be increased by the value of the
brake (nominal current of the brake). Configure the relevant setting on the hybrid motor starter
(refer to point 4.3, page 18)!
5.5. Auxiliary relay connection
Auxiliary relay (e.g. PLC RSC 230UC/21, order no.: 2966207) for activating external brakes or
acknowledgements to the PLC must be connected to the "4T2" and "N" connection of the system.
