Perform a functional and a radio test of the mobile phone.
The E-mail Test procedure as to be performed only if the customer complains about E-mail applications.
8.5.1
Functional and radio tests
Before starting the E-mail procedure it must be assumed that the functional test and the radio test have been
done successfully.

8.5.2
E-mail parameters settings (to be checked using the Operator Sim Card)
Press OK to access to the carrousel, select Message, press OK, then select the E-mail icon and press OK.
Then proceed as explained in the User Guide.
8.6
BLUETOOTH Test Procedure
Transfer a file to another device.
8.6.1
Activate BT on mobile
Check that the Bluetooth is activated on both devices. On Philips 9@9W, BT icon is displayed in idle.
Go to Connectivity/Bluetooth/, then press on Power On to activate it.
Go to Connectivity/Bluetooth/Setting/, press on Change Device name to know the name of your device.
8.6.2
Transmit a picture
From ”File Manager” menu to select one image/photo ,next press “Option” to select “Forward/ To
Bluetooth”. then the image/photo will be send by Bluetooth.
8.6.3 Headset
pairing

Check that the Bluetooth is still activated.

Put the headset in pairing mode.

Go to menu/connectivity/Bluetooth /Inquiry Audio device and select one from the list.

The mobile displays the list of the device discoverable.
Select the headset you want to use.

Enter the pairing code
Then the headset is pairing and can be used for incoming or outgoing call.

SMS Test Procedure
This function contains many options for sending, receiving and saving SMS:
Write Message
: which allows to send a Short message to anther mobile, it can be sent either to one or to many
users.
