Startup Messages

The startup prompt.
Status
Running, Paused, or
Shutting Down
Displays the current operational status of the
VSE Pro.
Input
DVI

Composite
[test pattern file name]
Displays the selected media input type.
Version
[firmware version]
Displays the version and build number of the
system software installed on the VSE Pro.
IP Address
10.1.3.101
Displays the VSE Pro IP address, which is
hard-coded to 10.1.3.101.
Map Info
[map file name]
This menu displays the name of the currently
loaded video map file. Maps are uploaded to the
VSE Pro at IP address 10.1.3.101 via the User
Interface.
Map Size
[map resolution]
The size of the currently loaded VMT map. The
default resolution is 1024 x 768.
Video Size
[input file resolution]
The detected resolution of the video input.
Frame Rate
Frame Rate
Displays the rate at which video frames are sent
to the fixtures.
Brightness
0 – 100
Use the up and down navigational buttons to
adjust the brightness of the video output. The
default setting is 100% brightness.
Black Level
0 – 255
Set a cutoff value for displaying black pixels
(0 by default).
White Level
0 – 255
Set a cutoff value for displaying white pixels
(255 by default).
Smooth Frames
No Smoothing
1 – 5 Frames
Configure noise filtering settings to correct a
‘steppy’ video signal.
Smooth Pixels
No Smoothing
1 – 5 Pixel Rings
Configure noise filtering settings to correct a
‘noisy’ video signal.
Sync Packets
Always Sync
Never Sync
Map Settings
Configure packet synchronization to improve
network performance.
