What is UPnP
Your NAS has UPnP capabilities. This means it can stream video, music and photos to a UPnP compatible
network media player. When you enable the media server in your NAS, it will be automatically detected
by your UPnP compatible network media player(s).

Enable your NAS

Use the ‘Manage’ button in the Philips
network storage wizard to open the NAS
administration console
Or use the ‘Manage’ shortcut on your desktop
If no shortcut was created during installation, run
the installation wizard as mentioned in the
chapter ‘How to install your NAS’, and make
sure that you select the first and second option
to create a desktop icon to manage and explore
your NAS after mapping it.

Fill in administrator User name
(factory setting: admin)

Fill in administrator Password
(factory setting: admin)

Select ‘System Management’

Select ‘Media Server’

Select ‘Enable Media Server’

Select ‘Accept’
You might need to configure your UPnP compatible
media player(s), to enable it/them to access your NAS
