Your telephone may not support all of the features mentioned below.
C
Call back
If you call an internal
extension which is busy,
or does not answer, you
can activate the “Call
back” option to have the
system to call you back
the moment the other
party’s telephone is idle or
used again.
Call waiting indication
If a caller dials your
extension number while
you are in Setup mode or
busy with number
preparation, two short
beeps will sound and a
“bell” icon flashes on the
display.
D
Dial tone
The tone you hear when
you lift the handset or
press the loudspeaker key
from idle.
Display
The small screen on your
telephone. You can vary
the contrast level of the
screen.
Download from the
network
This is the term used to
describe the process of
transferring data or
programs.
DTMF
This stands for
D
ial
T
one
M
ulti
F
requency. When
this function is switched
on, when you dial a
number, each keypress
sounds a pitched note.
E
Error beep
If you press a key, which
is not valid in that specific
state, a short error beep
will sound.
