Note: If you have a sound card, you can connect
either the sound card’s IDE cable (if
there is one) or one of your PC’s
available IDE cables to this IDE INTERFACE
connector. You must then disable the
unused interface port in the sound card’s
setup program. See the user manual of
your IDE controller or sound card for
instructions.
6. If you have a sound card which has a Sound
Blaster compatible 4-pin “ ” connector, use
the supplied audio cable to connect “ ” on
the back of the drive to “ ” of the sound
card.
7. If you have an audio device (e.g., a sound card
or a recorder) which supports digital audio
input, you may optionally connect “ ”
on the back of the drive to the digital input
connector of that device with an audio cable
