Do not throw away the appliance with the normal
household waste at the end of its life, but hand it in an
official collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help
to preserve the environment.
3 Straighten your hair
Ensure that you select a temperature setting that is suitable for your
hair. Always select a low setting when you use the straightener for the
first time.
Hair Type Temperature Setting
Coarse, curly, hard-to-straighten Mid to High (170°C - 199°C)
Fine, medium-textured or softly waved Low to Mid (160°C and below)
Pale, blonde, bleached or color-treated Low (Below 160°C)

Connect the plug to a power supply socket.
2 Press and hold the button ( ) until the LCD screen lights up.

The default temperature setting is displayed on the LCD screen ( ).
3 Press the temperature buttons ( ) to select a suitable temperature
setting for your hair.

When the straightening plates have heated up to the selected
temperature, the indication ‘READY’ ( ) is displayed.

Note : If no button is pressed over 4 seconds, the key-lock function
will activate automatically, with all the buttons on the appliance
deactivated. When the key-lock function is activated, the key-lock
indication ( ) is displayed on the LCD screen.To deactivate the
key-lock function, slide and hold the key-lock button ( ) for 1.5
seconds.

Tip: To avoid unintentional switching of buttons during process,
you can also activate the key-lock function manually by sliding and
holding the key-lock button ( ).
