3  Create flicks and curls

To create flicks

  Straighten a section of hair and turn the straightener half-circle 

inwards (or outwards) when it reachs the end of the hair.

  Hold the straightener in same position for 2 to 3 seconds, and then 

release it.

To create curls

: ( )

  Take a section of hair (max. 5cm) and place it between the 

straightening plates fairly close to the scalp.

  Turn the straightener 180 degrees inwards until the section forms a 

U-shape.

  Slide the straightener slowly downwards in a single motion to the 

end, and then turn the straightener inwards.

  Hold the straightener in same position for 2 to 3 seconds, and then 

release it.

  After 20 seconds, repeat steps 1-4 until you achieve the desired look.

Tip: It is normal if the appliance produces some smoke when you use 

it for curling.

After use:

  Switch off the appliance and unplug it.

  Place it on a heat-resistant surface until it cools down.

  Clean the appliance and straightening plates by damp cloth.

  Lock the straightening plates ( ).

  Keep it in a safe and dry place, free of dust. You can also hang it with 

the hanging loop ( ).
