1 To open the appliance, move the slides in the direction of the
arrow.

2 Pull the stand and the lamp unit up.

3 Put the tanning appliance in the position indicated.

4 Pull the lamp unit up to horizontal position. Use the handle to
do this.
You will hear clicks when you move the lamp unit past certain fixed
positions.

Instead of using the above step-by-step method, you can also pull
the lamp unit up by its handle in one single movement.
