Cleaning the filters
Dust container and filter cylinder
For optimal performance, always empty the dust container after use and clean the filter
cylinder regularly.

Disconnect the hose from the appliance.

Pull at the cover release tab (1) and open the cover (2). (Fig. 19)
The dust container cannot be removed from the canister if the hose is still attached.

Remove the dust container from the appliance. (Fig. 20)

Remove the lid of the dust container. (Fig. 21)

To remove the filter cylinder case, turn it anticlockwise (1) and lift it out of the
dust container (2). (Fig. 22)

Remove the filter cylinder from the dust container. (Fig. 23)

To clean the filter cylinder, tap it against the side of a dustbin. (Fig. 24)
Note: Be sure you are not losing the rubber sealing. Check if the sealing is still there after replacing back,
otherwise dust will go through the motor. (Fig. 25)

Empty the dust container into a dustbin. (Fig. 26)

Put the filter cylinder back into the dust container. (Fig. 27)

Put the filter cylinder case back onto the filter cylinder (1) and turn it clockwise to
fix it(2). (Fig. 28)

Reattach the lid of the dust container (1) and close it (‘click’) (2). (Fig. 29)

Put the dust container back into the appliance. (Fig. 30)

Close the cover (‘click’).
Exhaust filter

To detach the filter grille, push the tab downwards (Fig. 31).

Take out the exhaust filter. Shake out the dirt over a dustbin (Fig. 32).

Put back the exhaust filter (Fig. 33).

To reattach the filter grille to the vacuum cleaner, align the two ridges of the grille with the
two slots on the vacuum cleaner and close the grille (‘click’) (Fig. 34).
Environment
- Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but
hand it in at an official collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the
environment (Fig. 35).
