Product overview
1.1
Introduction
The DDRC-GRMS-E relay controller offers a flexible, low cost solution for networked guest room automation. The
controller enables a room’s look and feel to adapt as guests enter and leave the room, and allows them to easily
control all room functions.
GRMS relay controllers are designed to manage all controls within a hotel room, responding to inputs from
sensors, user interfaces and third-party property management systems (PMS), as well as managing the switching
of lights, General Power Outlets (GPOs), HVAC systems, and motorized blinds. It includes DMX control of colored
lights and switching control of LED room status indicators via the digital outputs. Additionally, the controller’s 18
dry contact inputs provide an interface with third party user interfaces and sensors in the room.
This controller is a self-contained unit and includes its own power supply, relays, processor and Ethernet bridge.
It is a network device, able to communicate with Dynalite software and devices via DyNet over RS-485 or TCP/IP.
