Tuning to radio stations

to switch on the last selected source.

control) to select the desired band : FM or MW.

The system automatically tunes to the next strong radio

repeatedly until optimal reception is found.

Presetting radio stations
You can preset up to 30 MW and 30 FM stations regardless
of the reception. Tune in the desired stations using
automatic or manual tuning.
Manual Preset

Tune to your desired radio station (refer to “Tuning to radio
stations”).

To store the radio station to another preset

All available radio stations with sufficient signal strength
will be stored automatically.

It will stop automatically when all the available radio
stations are stored or the memory for 30 presets is used.

To store stations on the other band, repeat

To stop storing the automatic preset
●
Press
PROGRAM
again.
Notes:
– If no preset number is selected, automatic preset will begin
from preset (1) and all your former presets will be overridden.
– During programming, if no key is pressed within five
seconds, the system will exit the programme mode
automatically.
Listening to preset radio
stations
●
In tuner mode, press
TUNING•PRESET
to switch on
preset mode and followed by

on the remote control) to select
the desired preset number.

The preset number, radio frequency, and waveband are
displayed.
RDS
RDS (
R
adio
D
ata
S
ystem) is a broadcasting service that
allows FM stations to send additional information along
with the regular FM radio signal.
●
Tuned to a radio station from FM band, then press
RDS
repeatedly to select the following information:
PS (Programme Service Name)
Shows the programme service name. If no data available,
the frequency will be displayed.
CT (Clock Time)
Shows the clock time. If no data received among the
broadcastings, “
NO CT
” will be displayed.
PTY (Programme Type)
Shows the type of programme received. For example:
News, Affairs, Sport, etc..
RT (Radio Text)
Shows the radio text messages. If no data available, it will
switch to PS mode.
