SMS
Note
You can enter up to 160 characters for an
SMS.
If you receive a call while writing an SMS,
the operation will be interrupted. When
you go back to SMS editing, the message
will be retrieved automatically.
Enter the destination phone number
and press
m
OK
.
Tip
You can also press
m
PHBK
, scroll
:
to select a phone number, press
m
OK
twice.
Press
m
OK
to send the message.
The message will be sent
immediately.

SMS SENT!
is displayed if the
message is sent successfully.
Note
If the SMS messages cannot be sent
successfully, the messages will be saved
into the Draft box

View Inbox messages
The messages in the Inbox are listed
according to the time of receipt, with the
newest message appearing first. The
Inbox can store up to 40 messages.
Each time an SMS is received, you will be
alerted by a beep tone and the screen
displays the number of new messages
received. The event LED will blink until
the SMS has been reviewed.
Warning
When the message box is full, you will not
be able to receive new messages. In this
case, you need to delete some old
messages in order to receive new ones.

Tip
If there are unread new messages, the
icon will appear in front of the SMS
message.
Browse the list of SMS messages and
select the message you wish to read.
• The message list is displayed with
the sender’s phone number or
corresponding name (if the number
matches the phonebook record).

to view the message
content.
Tip
To scroll to the next or previous row
while reading an SMS, press

sender’s phone number and the date and
time of reception are displayed at the end
of the message,
When viewing the message content,
