Types HD 7402 / HD 7406 only:
Anti-Chlorine water filter
Types HD 7402 and HD 7406 are featured with an
Anti-Chlorine water filter. This filter purifies water
from the smell and taste of chlorine. Organic
particles which cause a dusty taste are also
removed.
Thanks to the pure freshness of the water, in
which, however, the minerals so important for the
brewing process are preserved, the most delicate
aromatics of the coffee show up best.
The filter is based on plant material and contains
mineral silver salt, which prevents the growth of
bacteriae.
Just place the filter into the water reservoir of your
Philips “Café Cino” coffee maker.
• Before placing a new water filter, rinse it
well with tap water.
• Always use fresh tap water.
• The filter cannot change unhygienic water
into drinking water.
• To guarantee optimum functions, the
optimum life time of the filter is three
months. It is advisable to change the filter
after this period. Never use the filter
longer than six months.
• If the coffee maker has not been used for
a couple of days, rinse the filter well with
water before making coffee.
Replace the filter if you have not used the
coffee maker for a longer period
(e.g. due to holidays).
