1  Important safety instructions

Safety

CAUTION

: For INDOOR USE ONLY! 

DO NOT use this Intelligent switch with non-resistive loads, such as motors, 

compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs or fluorescent lighting.To reduce the risk 

of electric shock, this Intelligent switch has a third (grounding) pin. As a grounding 

type plug, this Intelligent switch only fits into a grounding type power outlet. Make 

sure that you use this Intelligent switch with a grounding type power outlet that 

has been properly installed by a qualified electrician.
