Phonebooks
Own number
The
Own number
item that appears in the Phonebook should contain your
own mobile phone number(s). If not, we advise you to enter your number(s) as
well as any other relevant information.

Although all its fields can be empty, this item cannot be deleted and is always
present.
Edit and manage names
Once you have stored names in your phonebook, press
+
when in idle
mode to access the
Names
list.
Quick search
Thanks to the built-in predictive editor, you can search for a name in the
phonebook the same way you enter it (see page 6): when the names list is
displayed on screen, press
-
(
Search
) then quickly press -only once- each
key corresponding to the first letters needed to spell a name (e.g.,

for "mar" starting "Martin"). Keystrokes input are analysed and the name
starting with these letters is selected in the list.

You can also press

to browse the list until you reach the wanted record.
Look for...
You can also select the
Look for...
item of the list and press
+
. An editing
screen appears, allowing you to enter the name you are looking for. Using this
menu option requires you press a key as many times as is equal to the order of
the letter (e.g., press 2 times

in order to reach and enter the letter "h").
Then press
+
to jump directly to the name you typed.
Once you have selected a name, press

to select the previous or
next field available if you entered several numbers for this name (e.g., phone
number, e-mail address and note). Depending on the phonebook you have
selected, pressing
,
will give you access to part or all of the following
options:
• call
• associate a voice dial
• flash dial
• delete
• change name
• send a message
• change type
• copy to phone
• copy to SIM
• show
• include in a group
