1.3. Serial Communication Cable and
Parameters
For external serial communication from a
computer to Philips plasma, Philips recommends
manfactures use RS-232 communations over a
straight through serial cable a 9 pin female D-sub9
connector.
The standard D-sub9 connector on the computer
is a male connector, and Philips Plasma, too.The
wiring between the computer and Philips plasma is
a straight through cable.A 9 pin female to 9 pin
female stright through cable is a very standard
part and readily available in many lengths.

on both terminal :

PW Serial uses the following default serial port
settings:
• Baud Rate: 19200
• Parity: none
• Data bits: 8
