[GETTING STARTED AND PRECAUTIONARY NOTES]
For proper connection and therefore full enjoyment of your new Phase Technology
®
speakers, we encourage you to read this owners’ manual
thoroughly, even if you are very familiar with installing speakers.
Speaker placement is very subjective. When deciding upon a location, consider the following:
Make certain your speaker wires can be run to or are accessible from these locations and that the wall or ceiling material is sturdy enough to
support the weight and vibration of the speakers. Make certain the area behind the speaker is free of obstacles such as wallstuds, electrical
wiring, pipes, etc. Each speaker should be positioned properly, relative to the listening areafor good coverage.
[HOW TO INSTALL YOUR HS15 SPEAKER]
1. Remove the speaker
assembly from the box.
2. Feed signal wire from ceiling
through the mounting plate via
wire opening.
3. Where needed, connect
safety leash to secure point on
structure/junction box.
4. Screw mounting plate into
the junction box (not included)
using the mounting screws
provided.
5. Connect the negative signal
wire to the (-) negative input
and the positive signal wire to
the (+) positive input.
6. Set speaker height by
adjusting speaker wire. Push
wire through the central
hole while pulling on the
center slack line to shorten
the speaker hanging height.
Reverse to lengthen.
7. Mover cover plate up
speaker wire, begin to thread
cover plate into mounting plate,
leaving half an inch between
cover plate and mounting
surface.
8. Excess wire can be hidden
inside cover plate by wrapping
wire clockwise and into gap
between plate and surface.
9. Completely thread cover
plate to secure speaker.
10. DONE!
