33. Adjustment of bobbin case position finger

Requirement:

The clearance between the position finger and the bottom of the groove in the bobbin case base must be

0.7 mm.

Check:

It must be possible to insert clearance gauge (00-880133-01) with ease but without play between the

position finger and the bottom of the groove in the bobbin case base (fig. 68).

Adjustment:

Loosen the two screws 114.

Insert clearance gauge.

Press bobbin case position finger 113 against the gauge at an angle of 90 degrees.

Tighten the two screws 114.
