Position of the knife to the needle plate
Requirement
When the edge trimmer is engaged, the knife

must be parallel to the needle plate insert.

Switch off the machine and engage the edge trimmer.

Loosen screw

and push back knife

slightly.

Turn milled screw

until its top edge is flush with the top edge of the cylindrical guide

Loosen screw

, position guide

in the centre of guide

and slightly tighten screw

Adjust knife holder

according to the
requirement
and tighten screw
